What Is a Social Transcript?
A social transcript is a supplementary document that, in addition to an official transcript containing an individual’s academic grades throughout their educational career, holistically reflects their extracurricular activities, experiences, and personal development.
In this context, the social transcript evaluates internship experiences, participation in seminars, conferences, and training sessions, volunteer work, roles in student clubs, certifications held, project and competition achievements, and leadership experiences. Professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn also serve as a digital social transcript today, making an individual’s career development, acquired competencies, and professional connections visible.
During job applications and interviews, employers consider not only candidates’ academic achievements but also the competencies listed in this social transcript, such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. For this reason, it is strongly recommended that students actively participate in activities outside the academic program throughout their university life to strengthen their social transcripts.

Important Information
1. To be eligible for a Social Transcript, students must have earned a total of 100 points across at least two different activity categories.
2. The Academic Transcript will be issued and delivered to students during the graduation process.
3. The application for a Social Transcript is optional under the relevant guidelines. Students wishing to obtain a Social Transcript must submit their application forms to the Faculty before graduation procedures are completed. Since student records are deleted from the OBS system once graduation procedures are finalized, applications for a Social Transcript will not be accepted after this stage.
